A Thoughtful Pick｜DW Collector's Series PurpleCore Maple 4-Piece Shell Pack - Ultraviolet Metallic with Black Nickel Hardware｜ Tools & Hardware

American-made and crafted to perfection, all DW Collector’s Series drums are hand-built in Oxnard, California. Each kit starts as a vision and is transformed into a fully realized instrument using the finest materials, legendary craftsmanship, and hand-applied finishes. The result is a drum set that looks and sounds exactly as you’ve imagined.
The PurpleCore Maple/Purpleheart shells of this 4-piece kit feature DW’s Specialized Shell Configuration (SSC), layering plies in horizontal, vertical, and diagonal orientations (X-shell) to maximize resonance, lower fundamental pitch, and produce a rich, balanced tone. From FinishPly™ veneers to hand-sprayed lacquer or satin oil, every finish is meticulously applied to create a visually stunning and sonically expressive instrument.
Collector’s Series turret lugs maintain tuning stability while distributing tension to prevent warping. True Hoops and premium Chrome hardware enhance durability and tuning consistency. This kit is a perfect blend of modern aesthetic, vintage craftsmanship, and unmatched playability. Mounting hardware is sold separately to let you customize your setup.
